This little boy made it very clear that he would rather be anywhere than posing for a photographer! Any attempts to put him by himself brought on serious complaining. He was fine as long as he was in Mom or Dad's arms, but was happiest being tossed into the air instead of posed in front of the camera. I guess I can't blame him!
Well, my luck finally ran out. I thought it never rained here, but we've had two weekends full of showers! I've been lucky enough to beat the rain on previous sessions, but I finally got stuck in the rain during this shoot. We made the best of the overhangs and porches, though the kids would have rather played in the rain than get their pictures taken... I can't say I blame them!
This little boy gave me a big challenge this morning: he seemed to think that it was funny to run away from me! I had to be quick on my feet, and it was evident that he keeps his parents on the move.
Probably nowhere else but here could you find leaves changing color and falling to the ground, making it feel like fall even though it's December! It's nice that we can still take pictures outside
and not have red noses and freezing toes. It sure was a job to get this little boy to smile, but some still snuck out matching Mom and Dad's happy mood.
This little boy (who is just two days younger than my son) was so smiley. Maybe all the little boys born in April are like this. His parents were great too! He didn't like sitting on the grass so much, but when he was with Mom and Dad he was all smiles.
The day after Thanksgiving was a great day for pictures. It was clear that this family was so grateful for each other. I know the Mom and Dad were grateful for their son-in-law who provides a little balance to their beautiful all-girl family!
It was a blast taking pictures of this cute (and very photogenic) couple and their little boy. He was very cooperative for the family shots and was even patient enough to let us do some individual shots after posing so well for the family shoot. After lots of hard work, we even got him to crack a smile.
