I rarely get a chance to have all the family in one place for pictures but we are here in Arkansas for thanksgiving with matt and lauren bush and I had a great time getting some updated pictures... I hope to take more tomorrow :)

Sneak Peek

I had a blast getting together with the "P" family at Houston's Waterwall. These guys sure know how to pick a great spot... last year, I met them in Galveston for some great beach pictures, and this year, the location was just as full of fun... and challenges. Little "H" didn't want anything to do with the water, but he sure cracked a big smile when I pulled out the wagon. Thanks again guys! You are the best!

Baylor Bound

This girl's on her way to Baylor next year. Besides being a gorgeous girl, I couldn't get over her eyes! Aren't they amazing!? Congrats "L" and happy graduation!

Winter Wonderland

I love this family and was so grateful they asked me to take their family pictures while we were in Utah. The snowy scene was such a nice change of venue, though I saw my life flash before my eyes during the session when I slipped down some stairs! Still it was great to spend a couple of hours together. You guys are so great! I only wish we lived closer! Enjoy!

Editing Fun

As I was editing the pictures for the family below I came across this one that was taken near the end of the shoot. Everyone has their ways of dealing with a family photo session, but this was the first time I've ever seen meditation used! Ironically, the baby of the family, who was the most difficult to pin down throughout all of the family photos, has the cutest expression on his face!

Energized

I had a great time with this cute family. Little "E" was so full of energy and smiles!

Four Busy Boys

I loved these four boys! They are adorable! Flipping through the pictures was like looking at one of those old flip books where one little thing moves in each frame, except this time, it was four things moving in each frame. The individual pictures weren't so hard...





The family one was another story, but here they all are! I even had fun playing with a little linen texture for the background in the post-processing.

Two families, twice the fun

It's that time of year for family pictures. Enjoy the peaks from these two sessions.

Session 1
It seems like just last week it was warm and sunny. Now it feels almost like it could snow any day. Of course, the day of this shoot was drizzly and sad, but that didn't stop this cute family from smiling... well half of them anyway :)




His little smile is so adorable. Look at those dimples!

I had to post this picture... I love it! Every family has one... can you tell who it was in this family? I was clicking so fast I didn't even notice while I was at the shoot.

Beach Boys

What could be more perfect than sunset on the beach? The boys had a great time playing with their trucks and I had a great time capturing their great smiles! I'd love to go back to the beach for another session, so if anyone is interested, let's go!

90 Years Young

It was tough to get some of the men in this family to smile, but that didn't stop grandma. She's turning 90 and is just doing amazing! Thanks for including me!

Two-year-old on the Loose!

Little "A" wasn't that interested in the balloon I brought her, but she sure did love Diego! It was a little tricky to keep him out of the photos and still capture her sweet two-year-old expressions and personality, but as you'll see below, I think we got some mom and dad will love.

Baby Brown

It was so hard to narrow down my favorites of this cute little guy. Taking pictures of him made me remember how small newborns are... and how close I am to having my third! "Sigh"... one more month!
